Imbued Body Butter

Imbued is a family owned skin & haircare business that creates a variety of products from body scrubs & bath salts to natural hair products and oils. Tiffany Semmons at Imbued reached out to me looking for a new packaging design for the family business’ new body butter line, and was looking to create a ‘spa feel’ for the new product packaging.  

Bamboo and wooden textures are often used in spas to create a relaxing and zen atmosphere, so I decided to include similar textures into the packaging. I chose a dark beech wood as the material for the lid of the package, and included a subtle dark cherry wood texture into the design of the label. The color choice for the product was an obvious one; a bright orange that’s reminiscent of the sweet orange scent of the product.
